On the 6th of March, the Academy celebrated World Book Day with a delightful display of creativity and fun. Staff members embraced the spirit of the day by dressing up as their favourite book characters, bringing beloved stories to life.
A Parade of Characters
The halls of the Academy were filled with a colourful array of characters, from Oompa Loompas to Hagrid from the Harry Potter series. The enthusiasm and effort put into the costumes were truly impressive, making the day a memorable one for everyone involved.
Best Department Winners
The PE and Reception Departments stole the show with their fantastic group costumes as Where's Wally. Their coordinated outfits and attention to detail earned them the title of best department, showcasing their team spirit and creativity.
Best Individual Costume
A special congratulations to Mrs. McLoughlin, who won the best individual costume award for her portrayal of Mrs. McGonagall. Her dedication to embodying the character was evident, and she truly brought the magic of Harry Potter to the Academy.
