Last week 56 students took part in the prestigious UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge for years 9,10 and 11. This event is worldwide and many countries from South Korea through Europe and the Americas take part. We were successful with the award of 6 Golds, 13 Silvers and 17 Bronze Certificates. There was also notable success from Archie who not only walked away with the 'Best In School' title, but has been invited to take part in the follow-on round in March placing him in the 0.001% in Maths. A fantastic achievement.
Other notable successes all receiving 'Best in Year' Titles were. Micah, Louis and Ashan with Gold Certificates.
The Junior Maths challenge for years 7 and 8 will take place in April with qualifying beginning after half term. Practice papers can be found on the UKMT website.
