Mr Holmes joined the Braunton Academy Design & Technology department back in 2014. He brought with him a much-needed sense of humour and a fresh energy that saw him settle in well.
During his time with us he has contributed to a vast range of new projects and resources for our Key Stage 3 classes and has been fundamental in setting up the Key Stage 4 Engineering course, allowing many more students to gain qualifications which have led them into many different fields in the engineering sector. His dry, quick wit and vast making experience has enthused and inspired many students over the years and he has now decided to focus on new adventures away from education.
We will all miss his infectious humour, fabulous storytelling abilities and Design & Technology skills. All of the staff and students wish him all the best for the future.
