This week, our Ocean Explorers embarked on a heartwarming journey to the North Devon Hospice Charity Shop warehouse. The visit was not just an educational experience but also an eye-opener into the incredible generosity of our community.
Upon arrival, the Explorers were greeted by the friendly staff and volunteers who run the warehouse. They were given a tour of the facility, where they saw firsthand the vast array of items donated by the public. From clothing and books to furniture and household goods, the warehouse was brimming with treasures waiting to find new homes.
The Explorers learned about the process each item goes through, from donation to sale. The dedication and hard work of the volunteers were truly inspiring.
