We are proud to announce that two members of our staff Mr Magson and Mr Ong, both former members of the Royal Marines, successfully participated in this year's Commando Shuffle. This challenging 12-mile speed march and run began at the war memorial in Barnstaple and took them up the Tarka Trail, past the Royal Marines Barracks at Chivenor, towards Crow Point. They then traversed the Braunton Burrows and continued up the beach to the Saunton Sands Hotel.
Their participation in the Commando Shuffle was not just a testament to their enduring physical fitness and determination but also a heartfelt effort to raise money for the RMA - Royal Marines Charity. This charity supports former and serving Royal Marines and their families, providing essential assistance and resources.
Thanks to the efforts of Mr Magson, Mr Ong, and many others, the charity has raised over £13,000 so far. Their dedication to this cause is truly inspiring and highlights the strong community spirit and commitment to helping others that they embody.
