Mrs Bodimeade joined the Academy in February 2002 after relocating to North Devon, and started working in the canteen and tuck shop before becoming a Teaching Assistant in May 2004, supporting students with learning difficulties in lessons and then on to being Deputy SENCo responsible for overseeing students working in the Inclusion Centre.
Mrs Bodimeade was the "Pinkery Mum" for about 10 years, which was a real privilege, making thousands of hot chocolates during this time.
She has regularly supported many school activities such as trips, drama productions, concerts, proms, has been a staff Governor, organised fundraising for charity, and was also part of the staff choir.
Her biggest achievement has been her positive impact on those students who find school challenging academically and emotionally, and will be sorely missed by staff, students, and their parents alike.
